Wiregrass Museum Member's Day Trip

Enjoy your morning with a guided tour at The Wiregrass Biennial. B22: Wiregrass Biennial is a survey of works being created by artists from across the Southeast region, and the group show strengthens the arts community in the Southeast by bringing regional emerging and established contemporary artists to a local Wiregrass audience. For area residents and visitors, this year’s biennial will continue to build on the museum’s reputation for showcasing work from artists from different backgrounds through diverse mediums – from painting and sculpture to installation and multimedia, large-scale works, and more – offering visitors the opportunity to learn from and connect with the art and artists of our time.  

In addition, our members are invited to participate in their Watercolor Collective for an afternoon of watercoloring, drinks, and music. A leisurely, come-and-go paint party will provide still-life inspiration within the garden’s flowers, sculptures, and fountains. Cocktails or mocktails will be available at the cash bar.

Members will meet at the AMA at 8 am. They will provide their own transportation and can caravan to the Wiregrass or they can meet us there promptly at 10 am. Dothan is 1 hour and 45 min from Albany.
